Stitching Wishes by Ms Erica (Art by iwikart)
A year ago, our team at Hong Kong Dignity Institute came across Silaiwali Upcycled Freedom Dolls and fell in love. We heard about how refugees from Afghanistan found a livelihood through making these dolls, and how they literally stitch towards freedom. As we brought these dolls to Hong Kong, we wanted to bring the heart of these stories to the children in this city, and that’s how this book happened!
Read this heartwarming storybook to your children, made with love from Afghanistan.
