Client Services
At one time and in one space, we provide individualised and integrated psychosocial and legal support to clients by examining needs holistically with a lens on the operating environment.
What We Offer
Mental Health Support
Individuals who suffered trauma usually receive medical assistance without critical psychological support. Our qualified mental health professionals provide immediate help and referrals for long-term support as necessary.
Legal Support
Our in-house public interest lawyers provide a realistic assessment of each client’s situation, helping them decide if and how to seek legal redress and escape from harmful situations.
Strategic Guidance
With our integrated approach, we are able to provide practical and whole advice to our clients. We partner with local and international organisations so we can quickly connect each client with the right resources to address their short- and long-term needs.
Before coming to HKDI, I didn’t know that there is a law to help me in my situation. I used to go to the police station but I never got justice. Not having enough evidence does not mean I am not a victim. Now I know that I can fight!”

An Overview
Currently, victims of traumatic events slowly navigate a complex network of independent resources. Sadly, some never receive legal redress or critical psychological support.
At Dignity Institute, we give clients immediate legal and mental health support from qualified local professionals, as well as strategic guidance and referrals to local and international organisations to address their short- and long-term needs at one time in one space.
